VOICE 2010 drew nearly 300 IC testing engineers and managers from 32 companies to Carlsbad, California, on April 13-15.  This year’s event had the highest registered attendance ever and attracted attendees from 14 countries, including China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Israel, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Denmark.  Participants included leading IC manufacturers and outsource semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) companies.

Continuing the growth in technical content from each of its previous years, VOICE 2010 featured more than 65 presentations – a new record high – on the latest technologies and techniques for semiconductor testing.  Presentations were organized in four tracks covering real-world customer needs.

By vote, conference attendees recognized the following papers as the most outstanding in each track:

VOICE 2010 also included a retrospective presentation on the conference series by Michael Campbell, senior vice president of engineering for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies; interactive panel discussions; technology kiosks and – new to the program this year -- an advanced workshop for test engineers.  In addition, two keynote addresses were presented by semiconductor market researcher and analyst Bill McClean, president of IC Insights, and by Brian Muirhead, former project manager of NASA’s Mars Pathfinder mission.

Verigy is offering the conference proceedings, including the presented papers, on a USB memory stick for US $50.
