Whether working as a manufacturing engineer or as a procurement professional or any of our other manufacturing related
professionals, we have a broad range of projects and services for our global teams to innovate. Our manufacturing
engineers work to transfer new products to our contract manufacturer, improving production issues as well as the supply
chain. Manufacturing engineers also work to resolve reliability issues for released products, partnering with our
customers to problem solve and recommending design changes. This feedback loop ensures the highest quality and
innovation available. Our procurement professionals develop and negotiate service contracts, allowing our vendor
partners to see our vision while pushing the innovation envelope within their organizations. Some of our team members
occasionally have the opportunity to travel to our outsourced manufacturing site in China.
Skills/Qualifications:
Some of the specific skills and qualifications that Verigy seeks in Manufacturing candidates include the following:
- Experience/education in the design, manufacture, test and performance analysis of electronic and
electro-mechanical systems and their components
- Experience with the complete manufacturing life cycle, from transfer of designs from R&D to
production and release
- Quality program background and experience with failure analysis techniques and reporting
- Project management expertise and contract negotiation skills
- Experience with cost/impact analysis
- Team oriented and results-driven, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
