Our corporate objective to Employee Commitment is apparent in our award programs. We are committed to creating an environment in which our employees have a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from their work and where they can share in the company's success.

Author Recognition Program
Our Author Recognition Program is open to all employees who do not typically publish papers as part of their job requirement. Authors create articles that support our strategic marketing goals while referencing technology or advancements directly related to immediate or future market activity. Authors create pre-approved articles or technical papers that are published or used in an approved technical conference. Verigy authors are eligible for an Author Recognition bonus of from 5 to 15% of their monthly base salary (percentage is shared when there are multiple authors). Award amounts are based upon the type of article and the publication medium.

Brilliance of Innovation Award
Innovation is one of the cornerstones of our continuing success in the marketplace. Because it is such an important part of our culture and our success, we want to recognize and reward innovations throughout the company. With this in mind, we have created the Verigy "Brilliance of Innovation" annual award program. The program is designed to inspire those innovations across the organization that will contribute to the success of Verigy, AND to recognize and reward people for their ideas.

The winners of this annual program will receive a meaningful cash award, a plaque for each team member and an invitation to participate in the awards ceremony. Moreover, previous years' winners will continue to be recognized on a large award displayed in each major Verigy lobby worldwide.

Patent Incentive Program
The Patent Incentive Program establishes an incentive pay program and applies to all of Verigy worldwide, though the available awards may vary from country to country. The Patent Incentive Program has three major objectives: 1) to increase the quality of patents 2) to increase the quantity of the patents in the Verigy portfolio and 3) to encourage inventor participation in the patent process.

Star Club
Each region and function in our customer team and other internal teams are eligible for our Star Club award. These employees are in the top 2% of Verigy's worldwide employee base and include account managers and applications engineers, who work in business development, on product teams, or in support organizations. Employees chosen for the Star Club must demonstrate one or more of the following:
  • Consistent outstanding performance against objectives
  • Contribution to significant competitive wins
  • Contribution to customers' success and an outstanding customer experience
  • Leadership role and participation in breakthrough objectives
  • Recognition by their team and across organizations and functions as contributing to the above
Star Club award winners participate in an annual 3 day trip.
