Jin Wei is Vice President, Application Specific Test Solutions (ASTS) for Verigy. In this role, he is responsible for the overall operation of the ASTS division, including product marketing, product development and business development activities.

Dr. Wei originally joined Agilent as the Senior Director of Business Development in January 2004. Accomplishments included the development of a Greater China-focused business strategy, founding of the ASTS division and the building of a new team to support operations in the region.

Prior to Agilent, Dr. Wei worked for various semiconductor companies which provided him with an in-depth understanding of the semiconductor industry from the perspective of a semiconductor supplier. At Oak Technology, Dr. Wei focused on corporate strategy and new business development. At LSI Logic, he held marketing management positions within their consumer division, and lead engineering positions for new technology development.

Dr. Wei received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo Noko University in Japan, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University in Japan in 1991. He also received an MBA from University of Phoenix.
