CUPERTINO, Calif. - January 24, 2007 - Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today announced that Global Unichip Corp. (GUC; TW:3443), a leading SoC design foundry, has selected the Verigy V93000 Pin Scale system. The V93000 will meet GUC's need for a high-end test system for testing complex high-speed, high pin-count devices for IDM, fabless and system house customers in Japan, Europe and the U.S. GUC chose the V93000 Pin Scale system for its performance and installed base, which will allow GUC to scale to meet mass production requirements.
