Verigy Announces Prestigious Keynote Speakers for VOICE 2007: Analysts Klaus Rinnen, Bill McClean and Futurist Paul Saffo

CUPERTINO, Calif. - Nov. 7, 2007 - Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today announced its prestigious keynote speakers for VOICE 2007, Verigy's second annual conference for V93000 SOC and V5000 series users and partners. Klaus Rinnen, managing vice president with Gartner's semiconductors market research group', will provide an outlook for the rapidly changing semiconductor industry for the opening keynote. For the Memory Test Solutions track, Bill McClean, president of research firm, IC Insights, will give a special keynote on the memory market, including an overview of trends and market forecasts. World-renowned futurist and technology forecaster, Paul Saffo, will share insights from his experience exploring long-term technological change. Keynote Speakers
Klaus Rinnen, managing vice president with Gartner, has more than ten years of experience at Gartner as a research analyst. Prior to joining Gartner, Rinnen held a variety of engineering positions with Applied Materials, Dionex and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Rinnen holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in applied physics.

Bill McClean, President of IC Insights, has more than 25 years of experience in the IC industry. A well-known influence on market and technology analysis and forecasting, McClean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and an Associate degree in Aviation from the University of Illinois.

Paul Saffo is a forecaster and strategist with more than two decades experience exploring long-term technological change and its practical impact on business and society. He is currently a Consulting Associate Professor at Stanford University, and is on a research sabbatical from Institute for the Future, where he has worked since 1985. Saffo was the founding Chairman of the Samsung Science Board, and serves on a variety of other boards including the Long Now Foundation, the Singapore National Research Foundation Science Advisory Board and is an Advisor to Red Planet Capital, and 3i Venture Capital. He also has served as an advisor and Forum Fellow to the World Economic Forum, and is a Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. His essays have appeared in numerous publications, including The Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Wired, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, The New York Times and the Washington Post.
