Customers Recognize Verigy for Product Performance and Technical Leadership

CUPERTINO, Calif. –June 18, 2007– Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, has been placed on the 2007 VLSI Research Inc 10 BEST Awards list for Test Equipment. Verigy's highest rated categories were product performance and technical leadership. The rankings are based on the results of VLSI Research's annual customer satisfaction survey that asks users of chip making equipment to rate their suppliers on a full range of equipment performance and customer service categories.

The VLSI Research annual Customer Satisfaction Survey on Chip Making Equipment is the only publicly available opportunity for chip manufacturers to provide feedback on their suppliers. The '10 BEST' rankings award special recognition to the suppliers that are rated highest by their customers. The results for the 2007 rankings are based on the survey conducted in early 2007, and were drawn from a distribution of 48,255 questionnaires sent worldwide by mail, email, and fax to companies located in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Europe, North America, and other regions. According to VLSI Research, the companies that responded to the customer satisfaction survey represented 95% of 2005's worldwide chip production.
