(SGX-ST: STATSChP) has purchased the Verigy Port Scale RF solutions for testing highly integrated wireless RF devices. These devices address the functional needs of the market characterized by the latest technology, wireless standards and quick time to market. Verigy was recently honored with an Outstanding Overall Service Award by STATS ChipPAC for exemplary service and performance to the company and its customers by demonstrating excellence in quality, on-time delivery, technology, service, flexibility and cost competitiveness.
STATS ChipPAC, a leading service provider of semiconductor assembly and test solutions, offers a full suite of solutions and test platforms to address and support its customers' requirements for the highly integrated devices being manufactured today to power the next generation of mobile consumer electronics devices. The addition of the Port Scale RF solution provides highly efficient multi-site testing of integrated devices containing RF, mixed-signal, digital, power management and embedded or stacked memory, with the required port counts.
