CUPERTINO, Calif. - July 15, 2008 - Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a leading semiconductor test company, has been placed on the 2008 VLSI Research Inc 10 BEST Awards list for Test Equipment. Verigy's highest-rated categories were Product Performance and Quality of Results. Inovys, now part of Verigy, received the top rating with the highest scores in seven of the 13 categories evaluated. The rankings are based on the results of VLSI Research’s annual customer satisfaction survey that asks users of chip making equipment to rate their suppliers on a full range of equipment performance and customer service categories.

The VLSI Research annual Customer Satisfaction Survey on Chip Making Equipment is the only publicly available opportunity for chip manufacturers to provide feedback on their suppliers. The '10 BEST' rankings award special recognition to the suppliers that are rated highest by their customers. The results for the 2008 rankings are based on the survey conducted in early 2008, and were drawn from a distribution of 66,717 questionnaires sent worldwide by mail, email, and fax in six languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, German and French. According to VLSI Research, the companies that responded to the customer satisfaction survey represented 95 percent of worldwide chip production.
