The Verigy InstaPin hardware licensing offers per-pin licenses, which enable different speed and memory performance levels of Pin Scale and HSM digital cards. This flexibility allows you to purchase just the capability you need today with the ability to quickly and cost-effectively upgrade in the future. And, to maximize asset utilization, those licenses can float between pins on a card, cards in a tester and testers on a test floor or different production facilities around the world.

Key Requirements

License Server: Because all Pin Scale licenses are floating licenses, at least one FLEXnet license server is required to host licenses and provide them to V93000 SOC Tester clients.
Verigy Web Login: FLEXnet license server software and emergency manufacturing licenses are made available 24x7 on the Verigy web site, but require login for access.
Familiarity with FLEXnet License Utility (lmutil): Control of FLEXnet license server(s), and simple management of the licenses on the server, require the FLEXnet license utility (lmutil) which is made available with the FLEXnet license server software.
FLEXnet License Management Software (optional): Enhanced license management capabilities are offered by optional FLEXnet software provided by Macrovision Corporation. More information can be found at www.macrovision.com.
